Information

The Poochon (also known as a Bichpoo or Bichon Poodle Mix) is a popular hybrid breed created by crossing a Miniature or Toy Poodle with a Bichon Frise. Bred for companionship and low-shedding qualities, the Poochon is a bright, affectionate, and hypoallergenic dog ideal for allergy sufferers.

Poochons typically inherit the curly coat of their Poodle parent and the playful, happy-go-lucky nature of the Bichon. They are friendly, sociable, and eager to please, making them fantastic family pets, especially for those living in apartments or smaller spaces.

Thanks to their intelligence, they respond well to training and love mental stimulation. Their friendly, adaptable nature makes them excellent with children and other pets when socialized early.

Poochons are cute, smart, and super people-focused, thriving in homes where they get plenty of interaction, play, and affection. They're great for novice dog owners due to their manageable size, temperament, and eagerness to learn.

While they have low-shedding coats, regular grooming is essential to prevent matting and keep their curls soft and healthy. With a positive training approach, they pick up commands and tricks quickly — and love showing off.

Perfect for individuals, couples, or families looking for a low-allergen dog with tons of personality in a small, fluffy package.
